COVID-19 – Update 20 July 2020

Since the 16th March and in adherence to the Government’s restrictions Circle VHA have kept our office closed. Since then, our teams have been working remotely to ensure that we continued to deliver services to you. The actions we took were to ensure we played our part in protecting you, our tenants, customers, and employees.

Our Head Office will remain closed to members of the public. We are and will continue to adhere to the Government’s Roadmap for reopening society and business. At the moment the roadmap states that people should continue to work from home, and we are facilitating our employees to do this. We have made changes to our website so that you can:

Repairs & Facilities Update
Since March we limited the repairs services to Emergency Repairs only so that we could adhere to the Government Restrictions at the time, and so that we could keep you, our staff and contractors safe. We are now responding to both Emergency and Urgent repairs where Social Distancing can be maintained inside your home, and we are undertaking all Routine repairs to external parts of the property.

We have resumed Caretaker services to all of our estates where this service is provided, as well as landscaping and repairs and maintenance to the common parts of buildings. However, we ask that all our residents continue to mindful of Social Distancing when Circle staff and Contractors are working within the estates.

Your Rent
We have been concentrating on reassessing rents for people who unfortunately lost income or employment as a result of Covid-19. There were and will continue to be no rent increases whilst the Government’s Emergency Legislation is in place. If you are concerned about your ability to pay your rent or if you have arrears, please contact your Income Management Officer so that they can advise and assist you. Remember to keep your distance to keep everyone as safe as possible.

If you have lost your employment, contact your Income Management Officer as soon as possible so your rent can be adjusted.
