World Suicide Prevention Day

As we observe world suicide prevention day, we are reminded of our need to support each other. This week serves to raise awareness about mental health and encourage open conversations about the challenges many of us face.

We understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it’s important to know that support is available.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please know that you are not alone. There are many organisations you can reach out to, who can provide advice and information on various supports that are available to help you through difficult times.

We encourage you to reach out to the national support service providers for guidance and more information –

Samaritans Ireland – 116 123

Pieta House – 1800 247 247 or Text HELP to 51444

Text about it – Text HELLO to 5808

Or visit www.yourmentalhealth.ie for information on support services in your area.

Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, and there is no need to face challenges alone.

Let’s continue to look out for one another and foster a community where everyone feels supported and valued, not just during suicide prevention day, but every day.

Thank you for being a part of our community.
