Wooly Farm traveled to Fairfields & Fairgreen Manor!

Wooly Farm and their collection of furry animals travel to see our tenants in Fairgreen Manor, Dunlavin located in Co. Wicklow and Fairfield’s, Co. Waterford to take part in our summer Tenant Engagement Events.

Families enjoying the lama!

Tenant Engagement Officers (TSO’s) Helena Crotty and Catherine Elliot Lewis were the organiser’s of these fun, furry events!

What was the purpose of the event?

The purpose of the event was to provide an opportunity for our residents comprised of children and adults to chat and mingle, to meet their neighbours in which they may not yet have had the opportunity to meet. Alongside meeting our front line and non-front line staff in which they interact with through communications frequently.

Wooly Farm and More!

The main entertainment was provided by Wooly Farm, who came all the way from Tipperary with their tribe of furry friends including a Lama, pigs, goats, chicks, hens, rabbits and gerbils!! A designated seating area allowed the children to spend time holding the rabbits – this proved a big hit with the children!

Let’s take the goats for a stroll! – Children walking the goats

The very talented Audrey from Glam Fairies turned the children into unicorns, fairies, butterflies and spidermen with her face painting and when she had a few minutes to spare between painting faces, she created an animal or two from her stash of balloons (balloon moulding is a fan favourite)! We also had a visit from a magician which was enjoyed by all even the local pets!

Magic shows enjoyed by all!

We ask if you would like to see a community event or if you have any ideas of future events you can contact your TSO or TEO.
