Social Impact Research Baseline Survey

Thanks for completing and submitting your answers to the Pre-tenancy Questionnaire!

Circle, alongside Clúid and Respond, are involved in a research project seeking to measure the social impact of Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) in Ireland.

Whilst it’s easy to point to the number of homes we’re delivering, or the number of people living in our homes, it is far more difficult to measure the effect that a stable home has on individuals and society. It has long been understood that our role extends beyond simply the handing over of keys, but to date the actual impacts of an AHB tenancy have not been clearly identified and measured. Together, Circle, Clúid and Respond commissioned the development of surveys to capture the real impact and benefits of social housing for tenants and communities. In the future this will be invaluable in improving services and contributing to an understanding of the role of AHBs in Irish society and social progress.

Participation in the survey is completely optional, but we would encourage you to take part:

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. The questions are user-friendly with lots of checkboxes. The survey responses will be collected anonymously. If you would not like to be included in these surveys going forward, please contact your TSO, or email info@circlevha.ie

If you would like further information on this project, please see the Evidence Summary and Measurement Framework documents located on the Publications section of our website, or speak to your Tenancy Services Officer (TSO).
