Circle Voluntary Housing Association proudly celebrates the completion of Richmond Place located in Inchicore, Dublin 8. Richmond Place, an award winning path finder project designed by OBFA Architects that has brought together key stakeholders from Circle, ALONE, Dublin City Council, the Department of Health – Ireland (DOH), the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, the Health Service Executive, the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) and Age Friendly Ireland.

Richmond Place is a purpose built, 52 apartment supported housing scheme designed to enable older people to age in place with dignity, independence, and community connection. This innovative model offers a mix of 1.5 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments, tailored to meet the evolving needs of older adults. The 1.5 bedroom homes accommodate carers or occasional overnight family visits, while the 2 bedroom homes are ideal for couples, siblings, or those requiring additional space due to health or care needs.
Strategically located within 500 metres of essential amenities, including a health centre, GP services, shops, and the heart of the Inchicore community. Richmond Place ensures residents have easy access to daily supports. By offering well-designed, accessible homes in a supportive environment, this scheme promotes autonomy, facilitates right-sizing, and reduces reliance on hospital or nursing home care. Richmond Place empowers older adults to maintain a high quality of life as they age, surrounded by community and the comfort of home.
