With many years’ experience working as In-House Counsel/Legal Adviser and Data Protection Officer in the Credit Union sector, and working in Concern prior to that, Mary has a broad knowledge of the laws and regulations of the financial sector as well as the not-for-profit and charity sectors. Mary is a Barrister, with qualifications in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection, Arbitration, Mediation, and Islamic Finance. With a keen interest in human rights and civil liberties, Mary Elizabeth has published articles relating to Competition Law, Immigration and Refugee Law and Conflict Resolution.
